I can't believe Kevin picked me to do the blog, after all I've done for him. ; - \ So here I am doing the blog. We start class with Kevin reading his blog which had this poem by Emily which I found very entertaining. Daniel demonstrated the breaststroke for us on the floor. Quite interesting. We then started writing I Am poems. We wrote one as a class and then wrote them individually. Simone read hers, then Chris and Payge.  Simone is loud and crazy. Chris is cool and clumsy and Payge is short and funny. We then did writer's workshop and I collected some make-up work. I have to get grades in!  Stressful!!!  The bell rang so we took a break.

HW: Review Notes

Once everyone got back from the break we took out our notes on Bull Run. Since today is the 150th anniversary of the firing at Fort Sumter, I played an NPR story about how they are remembering these events in South Carolina. Then we reviewed the first 5 characters from Bull Run, got into literature circles and read the next four sections.

Like always Chris is by the trash sharpening his pencil. We are kinda in English & History @ the same time ? :/ (Confused), Hmmm AGAIN Joel came into our class. 2mrw is the 150th Anniversary of The Fort Sumter battle (:  haha I LOVE how Our Class is NEVER Boring.  We came into class and Oscar read his blog. Then Ms. Nakada told everyone to take out their book projects and reading journals. Then Ms. Nakada read us a poem that she wrote for Payge about sasquash and how it made her laugh that Payge thought it was a vegtable. After that Ms. Nakada told us to work on our TGF essays or to start our poetry collection. Well now the room is so quiet and Cayley is not working on anything. She just stares at me. She is so LAZY!!!!!!!!!!!! We just told Ms. Nakada that her computer is making some weird noses and she told us that the speakers were on that's why and Cayley told her that it was hungry and she turned it off!!!! Shavon is over here laughing for no reason weird =D Shavon is acting very weird today. Ahahahaha well, it's time for a break!!!!!

 Well, now it is time for history and we are reviewing our notes. Well, now we are going to watch a Brain Pop video after the video Ms. Nakada told us that we were going to take the quiz. Well, now we're taking the quiz and everyone is saying different answers ahahahaha we got  9 out of 10 right as a class. Now we are doing a map. Payge told Ms. Nakada that her map looked like a sasquash and that it looked delicious. Well the bells about to ring so bye... Ari says HI :D

                   Right now we went to the computer lab again and Ms.Nakada asks us to write the agenda. She told us what to do and the people who finish the SPA are going to do the Civil War links.  I started working on my SPA and I was finish with it. Now I'm checking the Civil War links. Also everyone was finish with their SPA except for Edgar and Ms.Nakada was telling him he's not ready for high school. Ms. Nakada told us to log out and pack up. History class is over now is X period.

Soooo we came into class(in the computer lab) and Edwin read his blog. Then I volunteered to do the blog because I'm a perfect  student 0:-) lol. Payge and Daniel were singing a song I likee :DD. It's really quiet o.O #UNUSUAL. The SPA is really easy btw. Haha daniel is whipping his hair xDD it looks cool. And we discussed story "Farewell to the House of Dreams" by L.M. Montgomery and the poem "There is no word for goodbye"  by Mary TallMountain. Ha ha Chris is so adorable xDD. OhMaaGoshh we have to do 3 paragraphs__-x class was lowkeey boring today :'( the blog is short. Hector is so random :p well bye bye class is over.

Ch.22:The Civil War

HW-Review Notes

I got picked to do the Blog and I went up and got started. We added some stuff to our English Notebooks and started looking at Poetry and reading some of it. We started some cornell notes on Poetry and we heard about NaPoWriMo, which is in April. We found out about Forms and Topics for Poetry and how certain types of forms match certain types of topics and also on how your feelings and being specific about it can make it universal and how it can relate to a lot of other people. Then we started either doing our Glory Field essays or writing a poems about a feeling that is universal if we were already finished with our essays. The bell rang and it was time for break.

We came back from our break and returned our alpha smarts and Stufff'. The class got noisy again and we looked at some words in a dictionary that rhymes. Then we started our cornell notes on Ch.22: The Civil War. We wrote about the positives and negatives of the North and the South and compared them both. Because the South had strong military leaders and the North had more supplies and a bigger population, it was a long war and it had the most deaths in American History. Then it was time to pack up and get ready to go home(= ARIANA WAS HERE(:

Heyy(: So today we came into class and Robert read his blog. He chose me to be the blogger so here I am. HI :D Ooh Ms. Nakada just told us how they did their blog last year. They had to write in notebooks. I wouldn't have volunteered. It seems tiring :/ But then she passed out the notebooks & they're pretty! There's one page with a pretty flower in it. :> Now we're going over the T.G.F essay. Ms. Nakada told us what should be in our essays & then showed us hers.  Okay hold up brb I'm gonna work on my essay(: Oh my Jesus, the whole uploading and printing my essay took forever! & I wasted like 4 pages of paper. I'm sorry Ms. Nakada! But my essay is now done. yayyy(: awwh' sorry I used the ink Simonee :( awww boo no break today because a lot of people were late. :/ but tha't okay I guess.

That's sad what they did to your people. :/ Now on to notes. OMG woowww Chris you're soo slow. You barely figured out why the call it 'W'. You too Moni. :P Ooh Shay got called on because of her skirt being too short. But it's not, though, it's proper length. & it's cute :D Haha Ms. Nakada just said all that middle school boys do is to think about how to make words & numbers dirty. tsk tsk tsk. lol Shay doesn't know what the difference is between Republican & Democrat perties. Shay & I are Democrats ;D Where is this spider that everyone's talking 'bout? I don't see it -.- Bleehh. Anyways, back to focusing on the notes. We just got off track because we were talking about Audis. Lol Done with the notes. It's time to leave(: bye bye !
