Today I was chosen to do the blog. We started reading poetry. After that Ms. Nakada passed out our quiz so we could continue our quiz make-ups. After we finished our quiz make-ups Ms. Nakada collected them and we continued The Glory Field notes. After that we took out our Glory Field packets out and continued part 4. After that Ms. Nakada let us pack up if we were done with out packets. The bell rang and Ms. Nakada let us go.

T.G.F, reader's theatre
Glory Field Quiz Friday
We came in class today and Ms. Nakada told us when the grades are due for this semester. Then I don't know who picked me but here I am writing the blog. After I got chosen, we started reading our poems. Then we started working on our Glory Field summaries. Oh Lord, Simone is LOUD. And she never stops talking. haha love youu Moni! We were reading the Glory Field but now we're done. Now we're doing "reader's theatre" where we act out a scene from T.G.F parts I, II or III. My group did the scene where Miss Julia (me) tells Lizzy (Emily) all this stuff about where Lem is and that she's gonna set Lizzy free and give her the fancy clothes and hats and shoes. Then Lizzy goes back and tells Saran (Moni), who disagreed with her. Then Lizzy goes to the hanging tree and gives Lem water and then Mr. Joe Haynes is about to whip Lizzy and Joshua comes to the rescue, tackling Joe Haynes. Moni Was Here(: Shaay was here<3 Alright, well bell's ringing in a few minutes so peace out! (:

It was raining today. Class started with Julia (she was wet 0_0) reading her blog. When she finished, she picked me. Then we started to do the poem. When we finished, we started to read the The Glory Field. Then we did the summaries. Then we took a break.

In the hall while break, there was a bird in the building. It was colorful. But now, the break finished, and we are back in class. Then we worked on notes about manifest destiny. We then started to draw a picture of a map thingy. Then we got packed and ready to go home. Simonee was Here(:

Slavery in the U.S.
HW: RJ 2.1-25 due friday
history quiz tomorrow
Hi!! ok well Daniel read his blog and then he chose me.(because I kept saying me me me!)
Ms. Nakada and everyone read poems. After that we took a T.G.F. POP quiz. We opened our notes to The Glory Fields Summary. We took notes of what we should had read for homework while Ms. Nakada read from the book. I just noticed that Chris hasn't stopped sharpening his pencil (its been like 5minutes already)... now he is digging in the trash looking for the sharpener. Oh back to class, well everyone is reading one by one. haha Chris is STILL looking for it, never mind he found it. Robert closed the door...hmm I wonder why? weirdo *cough cough*JK! We were still reading.. I think its kind of cool that everyone reads out loud so they could speak out more:). I think Andrea was the quiet-est reader in a good way. We took out the Glory Field part thingy and we filled it in. we watched a video of slavery and slaves stories. MsNakada told the class that her father has a lot of interviews because he was a little boy when he was part of the Japanese internement.

We came in and Shavon read her blog. (GAAAH i still want a chimmy changa o_O). Then she picked me as the next blogger. After that we read "The Crocodile" and "Sonnet 18". We started to write cornell notes for The Glory Field book. Ms. Nakada read some parts of "The Glory Field" book. Ms. Nakada got a piece of cake... lucky :D

Then we started to read from the history book. AHHHH I was about to get a piece of cake but then Samantha and Eduardo ran away /: We are taking notes on Andrew Jackson. It's time to go home. LATER!

HW:TGF p9-34.
So, we came into class and we changed seats which is okay I guess. I like my old seat better :| Robert read his blog and choose me ^___^oh we have a NEW student in our class! her name is ARIANA<3 ((: we stared reading our new poems sheets, The Crocodile. lol we are talking about the grammy's chris said he liked lady gaga (: we are reading Sonnet 18 which is a cool poem. awww Ms. Nakada's husband got her a gift, mmhm which he should! aaah Love day aka Valentine's day<3 (; #Love It! Now we are discussing the beginning of Glory Field. were now filling in our glory field packets. lol oh betterhalf just made the whole class laugh! :D she has to go pee. Arguing with Daniel cuz he won't shut up :-p just kidding. we are making a new English notebook for the new semester! it's quiet now because everyone is reading. Okay well it's break time!
