So today we came in class and Chris read his blog then he chose the blogger for the day & he picked me "ohh yeah Leislie yeah" so today im the blogger even if i dont like the fact that i am kuhz i hate reading aloud by my self in front of the class but anywho so after Chris chose everybody got their test back & started working on their Test Make-Ups. ok today is friday and I'm going to eat chinese food after school and Simone is being mean to robert because she is mean. I watched jershey shore yesterday and it was so cool. Brb ya so ya. hi Chris guess who this is. Today is a block day and we are in Ms. Nakada's history class. Most people arrived on time today but other were late, tsk tsk. Alex came in and read his blog & Ms. Nakada asked everyone if they had done the blog twice. Since everyone had, it was my turn, which is why I'm writing the blog right now. Once everything was setteled down, we all started working on our Foreign Policy Tombstones and Robert & Simone continued their daily arguements. Then Chris (My BabyCakes !! :-d) came over here pushing buttons on the computer & what not. Ms. Nakada was asking everyone if they were finished but everyone kept saying, "Two more minutes, two more minutes! "So we had 2 minutes to finish up our tombstones and when our time was up Ms. Nakada said, "Pile at the aisle, pile at the aisle. " As she was collecting the papers, she came & smacked me in the back of my head w/ papers. I think I should cry. . . . but I'm gonna try to stay strong. Once all of the papers were collected, we began reviewing our notes for the test tomorrow & we kept hearing crazy noises in the hallway. Then Ms. Nakada started sneezing again, aahchoo ! Today, Chris is being even more random than usual. Everyone began working on their War of 1812 Thinking Map. Once everyone was done with their maps, we started working on our research papers and Simone came over here standing over me for idk why giving me the devil look she always has on her face, now she has a MASSIVE case of ridiculous hiccups that's driving me crazy! After we got a little further into our paper, Shavon broke my leg(s)! Well, I could write about our interesting class all day but the bell is going to ring soon so imma ease up off the blog(: BUH BYE, BABY!  Simonee Was Here ! & shaay<3

On Monday we met in the computer lab.  The first thing we did was go to Wordle.  We wrote down our name four times and then we typed ThreeCupsofTea six times.  Then we had to write down as many important words from the book as we could.  Then we got to create word clouds of our words.

Then we worked on our student profiles from the interviews we did last week.  I lost track of time though so only Simone had the chance to print hers.  Here is the tagxedo I made for my profile on Gary.  Wordle and Tagxedo are cool ways to add images using text!

We were in the computer lab again today!  This time we finished our student profiles and I had to rush everyone because they needed to finish.  Then we talked about the new research assignment we're doing about a history topic.  Many students are researching amendments of the consitution and how they impact us today.

       Edwin read his blog then it was my turn to do the blog. Vincent said I don't talk that much in class but I talk more at home. Ms. Nakada told us to take out our English notebooks. We were talking about "Three Cups Of Tea" summary. Ms. Nakada was upset about some of the students didn't read the book. Ms. Nakada was saying that she thought it was Hector doing something.  Ms.Nakada told us to finish any make-up work. The bell rang then it was time for a break.

  Everybody came back from break it was time for History. We continue learning about the war in 1812. Ms. Nakada told us what is foreign policy it means two countries interact. We lost the war now we couldn't get Canada. We also learn about Monroe Doctrine "Leave the Americans Alone!".We were drawing tombstones of the presidents. Ms Nakada told us to put the paper away so we could work on it next week then we pack up and ready to go home. Simone and Payge were HERE

We started doing quiz #8 corrections of the Bill of Rights and Early Political Parties and after that we all handed back each other's quizzes and either started reading or doing make ups on the quiz. While we were doing that, the class became pretty noisy until Ms. Nakada quieted the class down to write in their English and history scores. Then Ms. Nakada was talking something about cake and gravy and our grades. After that we started in on our CH.12: rtyThe War of 1812 cornell notes and Ms. Nakada reviewed what foreign policy is with us. We wrote a little more in our notes and got packed up and ready to go. We came into class and after the blog was read Ms. Nakada explained organizational <--- wow that word was hard to type. Then we started to take notes on  organizational patterns. Ms. Nakada told us that Wednesday we have to make a power point  about the 3 or 2 high schools (the other robert  is making strange noises :|) that we did research on. then we started to discussssssse orgianizational patterns agin: sequential  order, order of importance, cause & effect, and so on.
After we did all that ,   we had our break.

When we came back there was a video was a martin luther king jr in but with no color :(  I have a dream!!!! then we talked about f.p with many states (Chris said that America hated mexico) and how some kids' shows have a adult jokes .THE WAR OF 1812 : how the French and British kept stealing ships. We came into class and Daniel read his blog. And then I had to go because I haven't done it twice. Then Ms. Nakada started to interview Chris. Then Ms. Nakada told us to go interview someone. After we finished the interviews Ms. Nakada came around to check reading journals, book reports, and three cups of tea summaries. Some people worked on the three cups of tea summaries. The bell rang so now English is done and history is about to begin.

The bell just rang history has started. We talked about foreign affairs and we countinued our notes on foregin affairs. Then, when we finished the notes we started to work on the propoganda. When we were done we packed up and went home.

And now i have to write the blog. -_______- . We took out our history notbooks and started to talk about important speeches. Then out of nowhere we started to talk about that one 22 year old dude who shot a congresswoman in the head!:o Oh nooo. Don't worry, she's alive. Then we tried to watch the Obama speech but we didn't for some reason. Then we took notes about foreign policies of isolation and involvement. Nevermind we are gonna watch the Obama speech (the forces the divide us are not as strong as those that unite us). After the speech we wrote down a little more notes and then we packed up to get ready to go to x period.

We went over the winter break homework. We have to research 2-3 schools and find 5-7 facts using at least 2. Then Ms. Nakada gave us the chance to do our Three Cups of Tea summaries. We talked about internet sources and you have to check your sources just like if it's a famous person on Facebook and you don't know if it's really them. Then we did interview questions of people in the classroom. I am in ms.nakadas class bored and tired but cant wait until x-period so i can beast.
