First we came into the class and sat down in our seats. Then Edgar went up to the front of the class and read his blog, after he was done he choose the next blogger which was me :'(. Ms. Nakada then had us write in our binder-reminders the dates happening in the year of 2010- 2011 mostly about the breaks in between school and when our projects or important assignments are due. We had then read the poems 'The Eagle" by Alfred Lord Tennyson, "Poem" by Langston Hughes  and "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost. We then too out our English notebooks out and turned to page 7 and started more notes on the chapters in the book The Outsiders. When we where done Ms. Nakada came around to check our reading journals while she was doing that we had two options to either read chapter 6 or begin our personal narratives. Then we took a break.

We came back from our break and Ms. Nakada was still checking our reading journals. She had us take out our history notebook and start on our notes for Ch. 4 Life In The Colonies. We had done our cornell notes like we always do when we take history notes. Ms. Nakada made a lil joke about how she hates when people whisper in groups... it makes her think they are talking about her.! and that she crys herself to sleep at night because of it :'(. Then we had finished our notes and packed up to leave and go home for the weekend. :)

We read "The Eagle" and then today in class Ms. Nakada gave us a book of The Outsiders to read. Then some UCLA volunteers came to talk to us about college. Their names were  Kim and Raymond. They talked to us about UCLA classes and the sports they have there. They also talked to us about the social life. Then Ms.Nakada told us about when she went to college at Oregon.  They left and we drew a circle map and then the bell rang so we took a break.

Today in history Ms. Nakada told us to take our notes out from yesterday and to study them because we were going to take a quiz. Then Ms. Nakada made us move the tables so we could start the quiz. Then when everyone finished the quiz we had to move the tables back to how they were. Then it was time to go home.
